  The location was nice and the host was responsive and polite. We did have several issues. In spite of the fact that we paid the cleaning fee, the house wasn't... read more clean. There was mouse poop under the beds, the sheets were stained, the mirrors dirty. The bathroom amenities weren't stocked in every bathroom. Only one had both shampoo and shower gel filled. We had to sign a contract with a bunch of rules, which said that we had to clean the house, take off the bedding, fold them and the towels, throw out the trash and empty the fridge. I understand about the trash but the bedding seemed like too much to ask. For the price we paid, they should have provided some kind of service, but we got chores instead.

  非常新非常乾淨的villa ; 泳池非常棒很乾淨。Alex 接待很不錯，雖然最後一天有一點小意外但處理很快。以供參考我們2人入住5天4夜 用電收費大概是1000 泰幣以內。 唯一缺點是住宿點不方便行走，建議租機車或汽車代步，這些都可以找Alex 處理，收費也很合理

It might sometimes require a hike to get to the house so if you can drive or ride a motorcycle that will be good because except for the taxi driver that works for S&P Ayanna villa other taxi men will not want to come up there haha. But anyway this stay was part of why my stay in Koh Samui was a great experience. I will definitely choose it again 👍

Kommunikation mit Alex war sehr gut... read more und aufgrund des schlechten Wetters sind wir einen Tag früher abgereist. Alex hat uns die eine Nacht dann wieder gutgeschrieben. Danke dafür! Allgemein hätte ich mir für den Preis eine besser ausgestattetes Badezimmer gewünscht - unser Handtuchhalter lag kaputt in der Lade. Der Klodeckel war gesprungen und entsprechend abgenutzt. Auch Reste von Zahnpasta von den Vorgängern war noch zu sehen. Leider hatte auch unser Bettlaken massive Flecken, weshalb wir die Bettwäsche nochmal selbst umgezogen haben. Was mir - bis vor der Anreise - nicht bewusst war, dass wir Strom noch extra zu zahlen hatten - waren zwar nur 52€ aber für 5 Tage doch sehr saftig.

The amenities are great too, didn’t have to ask for anything and all is good quality within the house. Alex was excellent in sorting the hire car out for me. Very helpful throughout. I would recommend this to anyone, and if I come back to Samui, I would not stay anywhere else.Only tip I’ll give, and this isn’t a slight on the house or host. We left the air con running while we were out, didn’t really think much of it. But then had a huge electric bill of £55 for 4 days. Our own fault, and understand power is expensive. So if you do stay, just be power conscious and have the air on off when not there. Really loved this house so much, so happy we booked it

This may have been the cause of some unclean... read more bedding. Please note, we were told on arrival that there would be no wifi available. This did cost us hefty extra daily fees on our personal phone plans that we hadn’t accounted for. The safe key was missing and after asking for assistance still unaccounted for, therefore we couldn’t secure our valuables. Please also note that while mentioned in the ad and before confirming that the property is located up a steep incline, we found that the incline was so steep and extensive that many drivers refused to drive to the property, and moped scooters were too dangerous to navigate the terrain. Our only option was to trek from the bottom most days. Please take this into account - we honestly wouldn’t even recommend having young children here as parts of the stairs have no guard railings either

Watching the sunset over the pool while planes flew past was absolutely serene.If I had to nitpick, there was a mild smell in the main bedroom’s bathroom at night, and some privacy concerns since the bathroom faces the ocean without blinds — adding those would make it perfect.Overall, an amazing experience with wonderful hosts — would definitely recommend Villa Ayana for a peaceful and picturesque stay in Koh Samui.
