It might sometimes require a hike to get to the house so if you can drive or ride a motorcycle that will be good because except for the taxi driver that works for S&P Ayanna villa other taxi men will not want to come up there haha. But anyway this stay was part of why my stay in Koh Samui was a great experience. I will definitely choose it again 👍

  The property is beautiful and amenities were fine. Staff were all polite and helpful. Alexander was flexible with checkin/out extensions. This may have been the cause of some unclean… read more bedding. Please note, we were told on arrival that there would be no wifi available. This did cost us hefty extra daily fees on our personal phone plans that we hadn’t accounted for. The safe key was missing and after asking for assistance still unaccounted for, therefore we couldn’t secure our valuables. Please also note that while mentioned in the ad and before confirming that the property is located up a steep incline, we found that the incline was so steep and extensive that many drivers refused to drive to the property, and moped scooters were too dangerous to navigate the terrain. Our only option was to trek from the bottom most days. Please take this into account – we honestly wouldn’t even recommend having young children here as parts of the stairs have no guard railings either

Loved the pool and the view.Had some issues with power and water due to a storm on the island, although our… read more host was very helpful in communicating updates on when power was expected to come back on. Only feedback is there weren’t sufficient supplies like candles, flashlights and drinking water stored in the house in case of a power outage. Also note that power usage costs were charged on checkout separately to overall airbnb fees, as well as a deposit (returned to us) on check in which we needed cash for. These charges were not expensive but unexpected.Location is beautiful but definitely need to rely on transport like renting a scooter, car or catching a grab to get around as main roads nearby do not have sidewalks. Usually we would walk to the nearest main road then get a car, or order a grab scooter to pick us up from the top of the hill. Overall we had a great time on the island and at the villa, thank you!

If you are not on the bike, you have to get 4×4 car and be very very skilled driver to navigate and turn around on the extreme inclines. There is no proper turn around spot near the villa and it can get very tricky to get out of it.
